GEORGIA ENERGY STORAGE STRATEGY FOR GRID

Under the project “Georgian Energy Storage Strategy for Grid”, in cooperation with EDF (ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE S.A.) Parvus Consulting conducted an assessment of the Georgian electricity sector in terms of energy storage development potential. Within the framework of the study, Parvus assisted EDF in developing a relevant and comprehensive strategy for the Georgian power sector. The project covered investigations and multi-domain analysis of the sector, including an evaluation of the main constraints of the power system. Based on the output of the study, Parvus Consulting offered technical and technological solutions for system flexibility improvement utilizing various energy storage systems. The project was supported by the European Investment Bank under the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP).
