BLACKOUT RESTORATION STRATEGY FOR EGYPTIAN POWER GRID 

Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) is responsible for the management, operation and maintenance of the extra high voltage and high voltage electricity networks in Egypt. In the coming years, EETC is expected to experience a change in generation portfolio given the advent of photovoltaic and network expansion plans which are set to take place including the new cross-border interconnection with Sudan. Thus, given the new generation mix and the changes in network configurations, Parvus Consulting under a subcontracting agreement with Elia Grid International provides a technical advisory service and performs EMT (Electromagnetic Transients) study for the national power system.
