RENEWABLE ENERGY DEEP DIVE

The World Bank Group's Country Private Sector Diagnostics (CPSD) initiative, launched in November 2017, aimed to address development challenges in member countries while boosting public and private sector funding. It focused on identifying and removing barriers to private sector-led growth, with a particular emphasis on developing Georgia's green energy sector (hydro, wind, solar). As part of the initiative, Parvus Consulting provided a detailed assessment of renewable energy potential, private sector investment experiences, policy and regulatory framework analysis, and surveys to attract private investment. Recommendations were made for reforms to foster sustainable, private-sector-led growth in renewable energy.
